El Carbon is a tele* style guitar that combines a great, rustic, country look with that legendary tele sound, with very playable mechanics. El Carbon is MADE IN THE USA. El Carbon has a rustic Oklahoma USA barnwood body, styled in a unique "Burnburst", with a durable yet beautiful 10-step, hand-rubbed oil finish. El Carbon has upgraded, button style tuning pegs. El Carbon has been upgraded to a Tusq nut (see LBG deal below...). As is the case with Les Brers Guitars in general (see explanation below...), El Carbon's pickups are traditional Tele pickups. Grades above your typical, average import pickups, El Carbon's sound is all Tele*. The wood used for El Carbon's body turned out to create really nice tone and sustain. El Carbon has a truss rod-equipped Canadian maple neck with maple fingerboard, and finished in a 10-step hand-rubbed TruOil finish. NOTE: We found this really cool looking, gun metal-like bridge for El Carbon which has quality saddles on it. Perfect, except this bridge is top-strung, not through-body, therefore the ferrules on the back of the body are for show.
