Our Seawolf body shape, which was named after the Seawolf class subs made right here in good ol' Connecticut, USA. This seawolf was created from local CT woods--the back being CT ambrosia maple and the front CT curly maple, with sleek tortoise shell binding. The Seawolf top is finished in Patches of Mystic Sunset finish. The Seawolf not only has the distinctive looks, but we've taken a different approach to the pickups as well. Both are Ori-Pure pickups, a fantastic, dynamic, and balanced pickup brand. The bridge is vintage Tele, and in the neck position is a Stratocaster bridge pickup. This gives you great punch and tone from both pickups alone, as well as together. Our usual GuideHole Physics method is used to attach the neck for maximum ring and sustain, and cavity insulation/lead winding is employed to get lowest possible noise from a single coil guitar.
