The Burning Boxcar combines a country look with that traditional sound, and very good action. The Burning Boxcar is MADE IN THE USA. The Boxcar has a reclaimed Oklahoma barnwood body finished in multiple step process of sealing oil, Danish Walnut Rubbing oil, distressing, and "burn-burst" torching of the edges. The Burning Boxcar has a modern, fully adjustable tele bridge. The Boxcar has upgraded DragonFire locking button-style tuning pegs. The Burning Boxcar has been upgraded to a Feiten tuning system bone nut, and has been setup using the Feiten tuning system. Plays completely in tune everywhere on the fretboard. As is the case with Les Brers Guitars in general (see below...), The Boxcar's pickups are traditional pickups, but upgraded to top of the line Lindy Fralins. This particular barnwood proved to have really nice tone and sustain. The Burning Boxcar has a truss rod-equipped Canadian maple neck with maple fingerboard, finished in 10-step hand rubbed oil finish.
